Phosphatidyl Choline

The surface of the softgel caps is oily/sticky. There is a definite odor emitted when the bottle is opened. Since this is my first experience with taking Phos Chol., I don't know if the above product condition is normal. I am taking this supplement at 2 caps/day with food as part of my 'Glaucoma and Optic Nerve Degeneration program. No negative reactions to report. Any advice re dosage (ie empty stomach/with meals; quantity per day)?
