I am a scientist and I have seen the data on how AKG can prevent and reverse frailty in aging mice. I have been taking almost a gram of this supplement daily since October 2020 and I have never felt better, both mentally and physically. At age 55, I’ve been able to start jogging again, and with even less muscle fatigue than when I was 40. My tolerance for all exercise has increased dramatically. Although preventing the aging process in humans seems unlikely, the ability to exercise without fatigue has to be a plus. I’ll be taking this supplement as long as it’s available! This product--AKG--arrived coincidentally with my having a severe physical crisis due to "overuse syndrome." Heavy, prolonged physical work in extreme heat brought about excessive weight loss, lots of pain, and a dangerous level of complete exhaustion. My life screeched to a halt with bedrest, electrolytes/hydration, and supplementary nutrition. At my age (middle age) recovery after an episode like this is not a given. I theorized the AKG was meant for situations like this where extreme tissue breakdown may be occurring. I now believe that adding this to my diet may have contributed to my ability to bounce back better than expected--total recovery, zero pain, and tons of energy with retained muscle strength--and look forward to using this supplement DAILY to ensure I stay ahead of the curve because I have no intention of slowing down, just taking better care of myself. Hubs just had heart surgery, a specific indication for AKG, so we're watching to see how he recovers, too, while taking this product (he's a physician and ok'ed it but his own surgeon did not mention this supplement).
