I’m turning 68 in 4 days and about 18 months ago an actual, medical bone density test indicated I don’t have osteoporosis but I do have osteopenia, what in layman’s terms, I call the precursor to osteoporosis. 3 weeks ago I was walking my two very strong grand dogs, a year old Golden Retriever and a 7 year old Husky, just basically walking I have a “water skiing posture” holding the tandem leash. They saw two German Shepherds barking at us and in a flash I couldn’t hold them back. They had me running full speed across the homeowners yard toward the gate the dogs were at. On the last step up a graveled concrete walkway, I tripped and smacked my skull at the hair line above my left eye as well as my left hip on the edge of the top bricks of a 3-layer brick wall lining the path. In an instant a huge goose egg formed above my eye, followed by a tremendous black eye I sported for weeks as well as a 7” fat bruise & deep tissue damage on my left hip at the leg panty line. NO broken bones!! Doctor wasn’t amused about the DIY bone density joke (not my first home test) but did inform me he was amazed my eye socket wasn’t fractured (a typically brittle area) and that I missed my temple by an inch….even saved those sunglasses from breakage! Indeed, I keep my angels on their toes.
As recommended by my physician, I’ve been taking the Physicians Formula Bone Density supplements for the last 18 months, eat clean & healthy, walk two miles a day, surpassing 10,000 steps a day and row on an indoor rower about 3 miles a day, all habits that contribute to bone strength, but with such a violent fall, one would think I’d have at least one fracture.

This brand was highly recommended by my Doctor and I have been using this brand for over a year and just recently changed to Supplement First Company. I love this company - great service!

Improved sleep and no leg cramps

As per my functional medicine physician, I tried tri-mag and my RBC MG went from 2 to 6.5 in a year. I feel much better. Tried magnesium malate previously and it did not raise my levels enough.

Integrative Therapeutics Tri-Magnesium was Rx from my naturopath, both for digestive issues and relaxation. Works well. I started with two caps at bedtime, now reduced to one.
