Evidence-Based Results for Lung Health

I tend to be skeptical about supplements. However, when doing research on supplements for lung health, I found an article on PubMed about NAC. Apparently, in a placebo-controlled trial, 1,200 mg NAC daily made a statistically significant difference in patients with lung issues like COPD or bronchiectasis. Then I researched the various NAC products on the market and selected this one based on lab testing standards, etc. On the basis of these points, I can recommend this product. Good overall response

I was skeptical at first when it was suggested I try this to build my immune system. However, after a few days of taking just 2 per day, I have noticed I have more stamina. My husband had Covid and I remained strong and healthy. I can't say this was an impact of the NAC, but I am not discounting it either.

I've been taking NAC since the beginning of Covid along w/supplementing my vitamin regiment with Vit D, Quercetin & Zinc. Basically I haven't felt/noticed a difference, however, when I got Covid in 4/2021 my symptoms were mild lasting only 4 days, no loss of taste, etc. I am 63 and a smoker. I have not been vaccinated. I will forever keep NAC and the 3 other supplements in my regiment.
