I have been taking Iodoral since learning I might have breast cancer, and have continued since having surgery to remove it. There is a link to breast cancer and low iodine. After surgery I was told the cancer had not spread, which was amazing because my cancer can rapidly spread. I think a lot of that had to do with the combination of diet and supplementing with iodine. Please research if you have cancer and I suggest reading a book called the iodine crisis, this is where I first learned of the Iodoral supplement. I decided try using Optimox Iodoral IOS 50 instead of liquid form of Iodine for supplementation. I am finding it to be much more convenient to take in tablet form. I don't have to calculate how many drops to take to get the right dose, as it is already measured out in tablet form.

I find the Iodoral to be a great help with health issues. Delivery was quick (as promised) and the product contains what is promised on label. Have taken Betaine/HCL for a long time to deal with my low stomach acid but after just a couple weeks of using Iodoral daily, I no longer need it as my stomach acid seems to be working on its own now (for the first time in decades). Low/sluggish thyroid activity also improving and am noticing symptoms of a systemic fungal/candida die off that seem to be spurred on and associated with my taking Iodoral.

I've been taking this for awhile and found it to be the most helpful of iodine sources I've tried. I like the larger dose for those who have worked their way up-- more convenient than numerous smaller pills.
