• Designs for Health L-Tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid synthesized in the body from the amino acid phenylalanine. It is a precursor to thyroid hormones and dopamine, which play a vital role in metabolism, stress response, energy production, reward, and motivation.*
  
• This formula provides 1,200 mg of tyrosine for its role as a cofactor in neurotransmitter production, along with added vitamin C, another required cofactor involved in the conversion of tyrosine to dopamine.*
