The elderly cat is very very picky in food but the vet suggested this supplement for his kidney health. We have to break it into half and put it into his mouth. The half cut size is easy to feed. Taken around 1 month for 1 tablet each day, his result after check up is improving.
It comes as a pill format and my one cat eats it as if it's a treat!!!! Unfortunately my other cat who has CKD won't eat it like that but I squish it into his food and he eats it :) I think the recommended amount is a bit high so I do half a pill each per day and sometimes 1 pill each day. Don't know yet if it makes a difference as my 6 month check up is in a couple months.
